Florence is a designer, builder and texture artist and principal of Akimeta. She has a background in illustration and was educated at the Alberta College of Art and Design. She received her Bachelor of Design degree in Visual Communications in 2008 and has been working as a contractor and consultant providing various graphic design and 3D content solutions and consultations to Aimee Weber Studio, Designing Digitally, Incipit Integrated Communications, Locusgraphic and Navantis and The Vesuvius Group for companies which include: PR Newswire, the US National Institutes of Health – Toxtown, Career Training Academy of Pittsburg, the US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the North Texas Food Bank, the University of Denver, the US Navy’s Virtual Naval Undersea Warfare Center (vNUWC) and the MacArthur Foundation.
